The terrain is either the Biokovo mountain or the Velebit mountain. Biokovo is higher but Velebit is Croatia’s longest mountain range. Hunting takes place at elevations from 300 to 1700 meters above sea level. The rocky terrain is sharp but don’t worry, it is like a game, one foot forward then the other and sometimes a hand if needed or occasionally all fours.
Most people adapt already on the first day and it becomes natural just to walk over the rocks. We usually hunt from the top downwards. There can also be sudden weather changes and strong gusts of wind. From both mountains the Adriatic Sea is visible.
When a chamois is taken we have skilled guides who are experienced in this kind of terrain to safely retrieve the trophy and bring it to a secure location.

We have all sorts of rifles: Blaser, Sauer, Hardy, Christensen, Howa, etc. Basically for every type of hunting. Some of the calibers we have are .300 Win. Mag., .30-06, .308 Win., 6,5 Creedmore etc. We also have muzzle breaks on most of our rifles, so even with bigger calibers there isn’t a big recoil.
