Terrain
- Free-range
- 21,047 ha
- Abundant chamois population
- Exclusive access only with Artemis Hunting
Hunting takes place at elevations from 300 to 1700 meters (984 to 5577 feet) above sea level. The rocky terrain is sharp but don’t worry, it is like a game, one foot forward then the other and sometimes a hand if needed or occasionally all fours.
Most people adapt already on the first day and it becomes natural just to walk over the rocks. We usually hunt from the top downwards. There can also be sudden weather changes and strong gusts of wind. The Adriatic Sea is visible while hunting.
When a chamois is taken we have skilled guides who are experienced in this kind of terrain to safely retrieve the trophy and bring it to a secure location.
Artemis Hunting team is here to support you every step of the way!
Artemis Hunting is always at full service to our guests, before, during and after the hunt! We will help you prepare for the hunt, communicate with you the expectations you have of the hunt, specifics of the hunting ground you are going to…
Before the hunt, we’ll take a few practice shots, and the Artemis Hunting team will show you exactly how to use our rifles and optics. Throughout the hunt, our guides will be by your side to assist with range adjustments and shot preparation, ensuring that every hunter is confident, comfortable, and ready for a successful shot.
Available rifles
We have all sorts of rifles: Blaser, Bergara, Sauer, Hardy, Christensen, Howa, etc. Basically for every type of hunting. Some of the calibers we have are .300 Win. Mag., .30-06, .308 Win., 6,5 Creedmoor, 7 PRC etc. We also have muzzle brakes on most of our rifles, so even with bigger calibers there isn’t a big recoil.
Most shots are typically taken at distances of 200–300 meters (219 – 328 yards) – uphill or downhill, with shorter shots being less common.
