The Capra World Slam is the goat counterpart to the Ovis World Slam. Grand Slam Club/Ovis (GSCO) introduced the award in 2001 for hunters who take and document at least 12 different wild goat species or sub-species. GSCO recognizes well over 30 trophy categories, and the higher awards are Capra Super 20 and Capra Super 30. Mountain hunters often call the Capra Slam the most physically demanding award in the sport, because goats live in steep, remote and unforgiving country.
